ABOUT THE AAMI LIFE INSURANCE EGIFT OFFER
TAL Direct is making a $100 eGift card offer to eligible customers upon their purchase of a new
AAMI Life Insurance or AAMI Income Protection policy only under these terms and conditions (eGift
Offer).
AAMI Life Insurance and AAMI Income Protection Insurance (AAMI Life Insurance) is issued by TAL
Life Limited ABN 70 050 109 450 AFSL 237848 (TAL Life or insurer) and promoted by TAL Direct Pty
Limited ABN 39 084 666 017 AFSL 243260 (TAL Direct). TAL Direct and TAL Life are part of the TAL
Dai-ichi Life Australia Pty Limited ABN 97 150 070 483 group of companies (TAL). TAL companies are
not a part of the Suncorp Group and TAL Direct and TAL Life use the AAMI brand under licence. The
following terms and conditions apply to the eGift Offer.
HOW THE EGIFT OFFER WORKS
1. The AAMI Life Insurance eGift Offer commences on 3rd of December
2024 at 00:01 AM (AEDT) and concludes 31st of March 2025 at 23:59 PM (AEDT) (the “Offer Period”).
2. The primary Policy Owner who applies and is accepted for an
Eligible AAMI policy and who is so named in the Policy Schedule (“Eligible Customer”) is entitled
to only one eGift card per eligible policy type (“the eGift”).
3. Subject to the terms and conditions of this eGift Offer, Eligible
Customers will be able to redeem a $100 choice eGift Card (“Gift”). The choice eGift can be
redeemed with 60+ leading retailers. Each eGift card allows the receiver to swap for up to 4
brands for the card value and saved to a mobile wallet for contactless shopping instore and
online.
4. The eGift card is issued by True Rewards (www.truerewards.com.au/terms-and-conditions). TAL Direct
reserves the right
to change the gift card issuer at any time.
5. To receive an eGift, the Eligible Customer must complete an
application for an AAMI Life Insurance or AAMI Income Protection policy during the Offer Period
and be issued with a policy with a policy commencement date prior to 1st of May 2025.
6. This eGift Offer is made solely by TAL Direct. The insurers
issuing the insurance policies are not responsible for any aspect of this eGift Offer. Prize
Brokers Pty Limited ABN 13 135 826 747 is responsible for the administration and fulfilment of
this eGift Offer.
7. The eGift Offer Period may be amended by TAL Direct in which
case, a new or
revised set of terms and conditions will be published on the website https://apply.aami.com.au/life/static-pages/aami/life-offer-100terms.html
8. This eGift Offer is not available in conjunction with any other
offer.
9. TAL Direct reserves the right to alter or revoke this eGift
Offer at any time.
OFFER ELIGIBILITY
10. Australian residents who are eligible to apply for and be
covered under a new AAMI Life Insurance or AAMI Income Protection policy for themselves and/or
another eligible adult are eligible for this eGift Offer.
11. Information provided to TAL Direct when applying for and
purchasing an AAMI Life Insurance or AAMI Income Protection policy may be used for the purposes
of providing insurance cover, administering the eGift Offer and for making future marketing
offers unless you tell us otherwise. Information is collected and may be used by TAL Direct in
accordance with its Privacy Policy which is available at https://www.tal.com.au/privacy-policy
12. To be eligible to receive the eGift Offer the Eligible
Customer must have held the AAMI Life Insurance or AAMI Income Protection policy for 4
consecutive months and paid the relevant premiums in full for those 4 months. 4 months policy
held is equal to 120 days.

For customers paying monthly the 4 months premium paid is calculated as annual premium divided by 12 months multiplied by 4. For Example: $1,000 annual premium ÷ by 12 x 4 = $333.33

For customers paying fortnightly, the four-month premium is calculated as follows: annual premium ÷ 26 fortnights multiplied by 8 = 4 months. For Example: $1,000 annual premium ÷ 26 = $38.46 x 8 fortnightly payments equals to $307.69

Premiums may take up to 14 days to be processed.
13. Employees and their immediate families of TAL Direct, the
insurers, agencies, companies and related bodies corporate associated with the eGift Offer are
eligible to enter by complying with these terms and conditions.
14. TAL Direct accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or
misdirected eGift Offer enquiries, including enquiries not received by TAL Direct or delays in
the delivery of enquiries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other
reason.
15. An Eligible Customer is only eligible to receive one eGift per
eligible policy type. If there are two people named on one policy only the primary policy holder
is eligible to receive the eGift.
16. Existing AAMI Life Insurance customers who cancel and replace
an existing policy are not eligible for this eGift Offer.
17. The participating products in this eGift Offer, AAMI Life
Insurance and AAMI Income Protection are issued by TAL Life Limited ABN 70 050 109 450 AFSL
237848 (TAL Life).
18. A customer will be an Eligible Customer if they meet all the
eligibility criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions.
OFFER REDEMPTION
19. Having qualified for the eGift Offer as set out above, the
primary Policy Owner of a new AAMI Life Insurance and or AAMI Income Protection policy issued
with a policy commencement date prior to 1st of May 2025 will be sent an email from TAL Direct
with details of how to redeem the eGift Offer.
20. Each Eligible Customer will have up to 30th of September 2025
to redeem the eGift Offer.
21. The “Eligibility Date” is the date the Eligible Customer has
held the policy for 4 consecutive months and paid 4 months premiums in full.
22. At the time of redemption, the Policy Owner may be offered an
alternative eGift of similar value.
23. Each Policy Owner is entitled to one eGift only. If the same
Policy Owner takes out two different policies, one AAMI Life Insurance and one AAMI Income
Protection policy, that person is then eligible to receive one eGift per eligible policy type.
If the
same Policy Owner takes out two policies that are the same policy type, that person is only
eligible to receive one eGift on whichever policy reaches eligibility criteria first.
FULFILMENT DETAILS
24. If, for any reason out of TAL Direct's control, the eGift
chosen by an Eligible Customer becomes unavailable, another eGift of similar value will be
awarded in lieu. If the Policy Owner chooses an alternative eGift, they will not also be
eligible to receive the other eGifts on offer.
25. The eGift cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for
cash.
26. In the event that an eGift recipient
does not accept delivery of their eGift in accordance with any conditions
of delivery notified to them at the time of redemption, then the eGift
will be forfeited, and cash will not be awarded in lieu.
27. TAL Direct takes no responsibility for
the eGift being damaged, lost, stolen, or misdirected in transit.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
28. TAL Direct reserves the right to
request recipient of the eGift to provide proof of identity, and/or proof
of offer eligibility in order to claim the eGift. Proof of identification,
residency and eligibility considered suitable for verification is at the
discretion of TAL Direct. In the event that suitable proof cannot be
provided, the eGift will be forfeited in whole, and no substitute offer
will be made.
29. TAL Direct reserves the right to
disqualify (and not provide the eGift to) anyone who tampers with the
eGift Offer eligibility process, who games or attempts to game or
structure Policy applications with the intention of claiming multiple
Gifts not within the terms, conditions or intent of this eGift Offer, who
submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions
or who has, in TAL Directs opinion, engaged in conduct in participating in
the eGift Offer which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or
manipulative, or which is generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation
of TAL Direct.
30. If, for any reason, this eGift Offer is
not capable of running as planned, including due to computer technical
failures; fraud; delays in fulfilling material obligations where such
delay is due to industrial action, fire, flood, war, public disaster,
delay in transportation; or other causes beyond the control of TAL Direct,
which affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper
conduct of this offer, TAL Direct reserves the right in its sole
discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the eGift Offer to the
extent permissible by law.
31. TAL Direct may cancel the eGift Offer
at any time.
32. TAL Direct reserves the right to change
or substitute the eGift or the eGift Offer, or any part of the eGift or
eGift Offer at any time.
33. These terms and conditions are to be
interpreted in accordance with the law of New South Wales.
